About My Photography
I'm really just a hobbyist photographer. No big deal.
I started learning about proper DSLR photography in early 2009,
and my skill has certainly improved in leaps and bounds since then.
I was looking through my portfolios just the other day and realised how much my work has improved.
And I also realised how much more potential there is for improvement still...
I'm certainly no professional, but I do sell my images online with various microstock agencies.
My top sellers are my images of food stuff isolated on white, and my pictures of factory workers in action.
Microstock is a whole different animal. I suppose it makes sense why the more commercial images would sell well. One can't really make much use of an abstract blurred image of shapes and unkown objects. But a picture of a red chilli sells really well!
I've found that the arty-farty stuff doesn't sell all that well online
(also probably because I'm competing against photographers with MUCH more skill than I have).
