Which is the better phone? Which is the better O/S?
Why? It's mostly speculation. What is great for some is crap for others.
| It all boils down to a matter of choice, really. A choice influenced by budget constraints, brand loyalty and personal preference. |

| Handyflash's artist impression of the rumoured iPhone 5 |
I managed to get my hands on the very first iPhone just after it launched.
I was awed as I marvelled at the way in which the phone accomplished things.
The new touch interface...
The fact that there was no MMS and no ability to forward texts, coupled with a whole library of missing features we have come to expect from traditional mobile phones didn't bother me!
Now let me say - I was never an Apple kinda guy.
I always went for the phones that could do the coolest stuff, looked the nicest and still allowed for making and receiving calls...Until I owned the iPhone.
Wow.
Personally, I don't want to switch because I know no other phone will satisfy or compare against what I've come to love about iPhone.
It has everything you need, a lot of what you want, and then some.
There are apps for almost everything.
You can even get an app to log how often you poo. No, really.
My iPad is one my favourite toys for when I simply want to browse the web, check mail etc, allowing more comfort for my eyes with the larger real estate...
There are rumours about the design of the upcoming iPhone 5 this year, together with the iPad 3 which will probably be launched next year some time.
The rumours are all over the place, images sprouting up everywhere.
iPad 2 was just announced a few days ago, but it's never enough.
We always want to see what's coming out next.
I just read an interesting specaulative blog about the iPhone 5 - according to this woman, iPhone 5 will have a dual processor, and 32G storage space.Ok, that's fair to wish for. She also mentioned it would have 64G of memory. :s
So from this, the iPhone 5 will be also be a high-end enterprise database server?
I reckon it may also come out with built-in laser beams and will be able to turn into a tropical island and fly you there.
The funny thing is - even if it doesn't have laser beams and an app to make toast - people still go crazy over it.
There isn't really a whole lot to be said about the iPhone and what the iPhone 5 is bound to have. Most of those trying to predict the future are just a bunch of idiots coming up with a load of rubbish.
But it's safe to assume the following:

* Better camera
* Longer battery life
* Improved performance (dual core chip)
* Improved Graphic performance
* Greater memory
* Improved aesthetics and ergonomics
There are rumours that with multi-gesture support, Apple may even ditch the physical home button on iDevices. That could possibly make the iPhone even smaller.
Other rumours suggest that iPhone will be available in a Nano form.
A Smaller, cheaper version of the iPhone? Interesting...
Apple is fully aware of what customers are asking for in the iPad to be realeased.
I read another interesting blog that the iPad2 was more of a refresh, and the 3 will be the real deal.
Let's wait and see what comes up, but in the meanwhile, I'll be certain to keep fighting to get my hands on the latest iDevices as they come out!
